Isabella Rossellini | Athens | October 20

Renowned Italian actress Isabella Rossellini brings "Link Link Circus," a one-woman show in which she's joined by her dog, Pan, to the Athens Concert Hall on October 20. In this lecture-performance, the award-winning actress explores the thoughts and behaviors of different animals. The show is in English with Greek subtitles. Tickets cost 24-60 euros and are already on sale.

Katerine Duska | Athens | September 14

Greek-Canadian singer Katerine Duska returns to the Athens Concert Hall garden with her new band and a special guest, Swedish songwriter Albin Lee Meldau. The ensemble will perform extracts from Duska's first album, "Embodiment," covers of popular Greek and foreign songs, and compositions from her new album, which is about to be released. The show starts at 8.30 p.m.

Takis Paterelis Quartet | Athens | September 13

Respected jazz musicians Takis Paterelis (tenor sax), Costis Christodoulou (piano), Periklis Trivolis (double bass) and Dimitris Klonis (drums) present pieces from John Coltrane's 1964 album "A Love Supreme," which made new inroads for the genre. The quartet will perform in the gardens of the Athens Concert Hall on Thursday, September 13, starting at 8.30 p.m.

Greek-American conductor Peter Tiboris presents a grand musical evening with Warsaw's Pan-European Philharmonia and an international group of singers and musicians in great opera highlights on Monday, July 23. The soloists are Finnish-Canadian soprano Eilana Lappalainen, Italian tenor Gian Luca Pasolini and Swedish bass-baritone Carry Persson.

Charles Taylor | Athens | June 20

Canadian philosopher Charles Taylor of McGill University gives a lecture at Athens Concert Hall on Wednesday, June 20, on "Democratic Degeneration." Taylor's lecture is held in cooperation with the Birkbeck Institute of Humanities and will be in English with simultaneous translation into Greek. Admission is free of charge with priority coupons being distribited as of 5.30 p.m.
