Inmate dies at Trikala Prison from apparent head injury

An inmate of Trikala Prison in central Greece died on Friday, possibly as a result of a head injury sustained during a fight with a fellow convict.

The 66-year-old was dead by the time prison authorities could get him to hospital, the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (AMNA) reported, quoting local sources.

Man pulled dead from train tracks in northern Athens

Firemen on Monday pulled the body of a middle-aged man from the tracks of the urban railway at Neratziotissa station in northern Athens, according to state-run news agency ANA-MPA.
The report did not clarify how the man ended up there.
The man was transferred to a nearby hospital where doctors confirmed his death.

Katrougalos, Cavusoglu to meet in Antalya Thursday

Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Katrougalos will meet with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu in the province of Antalya in southern Turkey on Thursday, state-run Athens-Macedonian news agency (ANA-MPA) reports.
The two ministers will discuss issues of bilateral, regional and international interest, ANA-MPA says.
Talks will be followed by a joint press conference.
