Drones, snipers and 3,500 officers in preparation for Erdogan’s visit to Greece
Approximately 3,500 police officers are expected to be on foot for the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Athens on Thursday. Traffic regulations will be in place from the early morning.
The Turkish president will be in Athens to participate in the Greece-Turkey Supreme Cooperation Council.
Multinational special forces exercise ends
The Orion 23 Special Forces - Special Operations Forces Exercise, which was held in parallel with Iniochos 23, was completed on Thursday with the participation of contingents from the US, France, Cyprus, Austria, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Montenegro.

Hojs discusses fighting terrorism at Atlas network meeting
Ljubljana – Interior Minister Aleš Hojs hosted a meeting of the ATLAS Commanders Forum held in Ljubljana on Tuesday, attended by representatives of the special police units from the EU member states. Hojs said that terrorism was placed high on the EU priority list and that the role of ATLAS network was important as well.
