Turkey's former parliament speaker İsmet Sezgin dies at age 88
İsmet Sezgin, a former parliament speaker of Turkey, has died in Ankara at the age of 88.
Sezgin died of multiple organ failure at the Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) in Ankara, where he had been staying for nearly a month, the hospital stated on Dec. 7.
He was born in 1928 in the western Turkish province of Aydın.
