'Little Amal' puppet to walk for displaced refugee children
The journey of a 3.5-meter-tall puppet en route to the U.K., prepared as part of a project titled "The Walk" that is sharing the life story of Little Amal, a 9-year-old Syrian refugee, will begin in the southeastern province of Gaziantep.
Turkish TV stars to join economic delegation's Argentina visit
Turkey's Foreign Economic Relations Board (DE?K) will make an official visit to Argentina in March 2016 accompanied by famous Turkish TV stars Halit Ergenç and Bergüzar Korel, who are very popular in Latin America.
Ergenç and Korel co-starred in the popular Turkish soap opera "Binbir Gece" (1001 Nights), screened under the title "Las Mil y Una Noches" in Argentina.
Turkish drama star visits Jordan refugee camp
Turkish actress Tuba Büyüküstün, who is the most popular actress in the Arab world and last year became the good will ambassador of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), went to Jordan to visit thousands of women and children who escaped from the civil war in bordering Syria and took shelter in the Zaatari refugee camp.
