Two reported missing after speedboat capsizes in Istanbul's Bosphorus

Two people have been reported missing after a speedboat capsized in Istanbul's Bosphorus strait, crashing into the pier of a waterside cottage early June 28. 

The speedboat capsized around 4:30 a.m. off Anadoluhisar?, a coastal neighborhood in Beykoz, a district in Istanbul's Anatolian side, after it crashed into the pier of the historical Hekimba?? cottage. 

Court cancels access road plans for Istanbul's third bridge

An Istanbul court revoked an amendment on June 11 for the construction plans of the access roads to Istanbul?s third bridge, which is being built in the northern part of the city. The court?s move may halt the bridge?s progress, as the construction of link roads will lose their legal ground.

University to be built on protected area: Report

A private university is to be built on a previously protected forest area in the Beykoz district of Istanbul, after a construction firm received special permission from the Environment and Urbanization Ministry, opposing a decision made by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (?BB) to keep the area protected from construction.

A bus has hit two women, killing one, in Istanbul after its driver suffered a heart attack while driving in traffic.

The passenger bus, operated by ?stanbul Özel Halk Otobüsü ?irketleri (Istanbul Private-Public Bus Companies), skidded off the road in Beykoz district at 12:30 p.m., according to Do?an News Agency.
