Birdman' soars to Oscar heights on best picture win
The dark comedy "Birdman" held up a mirror to Hollywood and its struggling actors and received in return the film industry's highest recognition on Feb. 22, the Academy Award for best picture.

Birdman, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and The Grand Budapest Hotel were neck in neck at the 87th Academy Awards ceremony.
Birdman, however, snatched two of the most prestigious film awards - best director and and best picture, as well as best original screenplay and best cinematography.

'Birdman' vs 'Boyhood' Oscar battle heats up after Spirit Awards
