Algeria to donate USD 500,000 for post-flood effort

BELGRADE -- A memorandum of understanding was signed on Friday on an Algerian government donation worth USD 500,000 for reconstruction Serbia's water management sector.

BELGRADE - Director of the Government Office for Reconstruction and Flood Relief Marko Blagojevic stated late on Friday that 15,058 aid packages have been transferred so far for 15,058 households in Serbia, and added that the total value of the aid delivered so far adds up to RSD 3.5 billion.

Aid to flood-affected citizens in eastern Serbia

BELGRADE -- Director of the Office for Reconstruction and Flood Relief, said that there is enough money to help the population affected by flash floods in eastern Serbia.

BELGRADE - Serbia is to receive USD 1.8 million worth of financial assistance from the UN in the coming days, the UN Resident Coordinator in Serbia Irena Vojackova-Solorano said on Tuesday, noting that the money has been obtained from the Central Emergency Response Fund and that it is just the first part of the assistance.
