Bomb threat at central office of National Bank turns out to be hoax

Police ordered the evacuation of the branch of National Bank off Syntagma Square near central Athens on Monday after an anonymous caller phoned in a bomb threat which turned out to be a hoax. 

Members of the police's bomb disposal unit were dispatched to the scene to search for any suspicious devices but found nothing. 

Two Explosive Devices were Found in an Apartment in London

British police have launched a terror investigation after two homemade bombs were found hidden in a North London flat, reported the Sun. 

The lethal devices were found dumped in the empty flat in Harlesden just after 9.30am on Wednesday.

The block in Craven Park was evacuated before a crack Met bomb squad swooped in to disable the explosives.

Bomb threat shuts down Panepistimiou Street in downtown Athens

Police in Athens had to close down Panepistimiou Street for an hour or so on Friday morning after a bomb threat by an anonymous caller.

The 100 emergency service received a call at around 6.30 in the morning warning that a bomb was timed to go off in 40 minutes outside Number 12, the neoclassical edifice that is home to Greece's Numismatic Museum.
