Bulgarian Census 2021: Last day for Electronic Counting

Last day you can count electronically. The deadline expires today at midnight.

Then the only way to enter the statistics is through a counter. The deadline for this is extended to 20.00 on October 10. The National Statistical Institute reminds about the advantages of filling in the data electronically.

Delegation of European Parliament is Visiting Bulgaria

A delegation of the European Parliament is on a two-day visit to Bulgaria.

This is the first visit of members of the Civil Liberties Commission in the country.

They will meet with various civil society organizations, as well as senior government and government officials, including the president, ombudsman and chief prosecutor.

Most of Newly Infected Covid-19 Patients in Bulgaria Are Children

Less than 3,000 children between the ages of 12 and 17 have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus in Bulgaria to date. At the same time, the number of infected children is growing - in just one week they are 434.

Bulgarian and Macedonian Public Tv Broadcasters Signed Agreement for Cooperation

BNT Director General, Emil Koshlukov and his counterpart, Macedonian Radio and Television Director General, Maryan Tsvetkovski,  signed a co-operation agreement, intending to deepen joint work, exchange of information and production.

The two broadcasters reaffirmed their good working relationship, long-term partnership and looked to the future.

Partial State of Emergency in Bourgas, Flooded Houses after Heavy Rains

A partial state of emergency has been declared in the village of Kosti in the south-eastern Bulgarian district of Bourgas on February 2.

40 houses and their yards and ground floors have been flooded. The streets looked like rivers.

At around 11.30 pm last night, the water started coming from the Veleka River, which overflowed as a result of the rains.

Bulgaria: Students from 5th to 12th Grade Will Study Online Until End of January

The Minister of Education and Science Krassimir Valchev issued an order for distance learning until January 31st for students from 5th to 12th grade.

The education of students from 5th to 12th grade should be carried out, as far as possible, in an electronic environment by using the means of information and communication technologies, states the order.
