At least 66 people lost their lives, and 51 others were injured in a fire that broke out at a hotel in the Kartalkaya ski resort in northwestern Turkey. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3:30 a.m., when a fire started in a restaurant located on the 12th floor of the hotel.

Petar Vassilev, the renowned Bulgarian sports journalist affectionately known as Petela (The Rooster), has passed away at the age of 64, as confirmed by Bulgarian National Television (BNT). A tragic incident occurred at a school in Sofia where an 11-year-old girl passed away, BNT reported.

The child lost consciousness earlier this morning. The school nurse immediately contacted emergency services for assistance.

Following the announcement of the official election results in Bulgaria, it has become evident that 21 votes were missing for the "Greatness" party, preventing them from entering parliament. However, an investigation by the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) revealed that at least 28 votes originally meant for "Greatness" were reallocated to other parties.

A number of Bulgarians are currently stranded at Valencia Airport, according to Reni Mladenova, head of the "Progress" Association and the Bulgarian Sunday School "Vasil Levski" in Valencia, BNT reported. A mobile laboratory is monitoring the air quality, prompting the closure of a local kindergarten and school after waste from the treatment plant ignited.

In Plovdiv, a 16-year-old boy without a driver's license engaged in a high-speed pursuit with the police, reaching speeds of up to 170 km/h, reports BNT. The youth, reportedly intoxicated, was encouraged to drive by his father, who was also heavily intoxicated, after the two had attended a wedding.
