US Warship Visits Varna Port
''The visit of one of our main warships Oscar Austin at Varna Port is a visible reminder that we have the engagement to fight together if we have to'', Commander 6th Fleet, Commander Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO Vice Admiral Christopher Grady said after the meeting with Commander of Bulgarian Navy Rear Admiral Mitko Petev, according to the Bulgarian National Radio.

French Vessel to Drop Anchor in Varna for Joint Manoeuvres
French patrol boat Premier maître L'Her (F 792) is set to arrive to the Black Sea port of Varna, Bulgaria, for joint manoeuvres with the Bulgarian Navy, the French Embassy has said.
The arrival is part of Bulgarian-French naval cooperation. Manoeuvres are due on October 15, 2016.
Bulgaria Plans to Refit Two of Its Frigates
The Bulgarian defence ministry is planning to refit two of the frigates currently in service to the navy in order to fully restore their capabilities.
The refitting of Drazki and Verni frigates, both of which used to be in service to the Belgian navy, will be carried at the same time as the acquisition of two new multi-purpose patrol ships.
