Boyko Borissov, chairman of the GERB parliamentary group, has formally declined the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) invitation to negotiate forming a government with the second mandate. In his letter, Borissov reaffirmed GERB's position of not supporting a second mandate under any circumstances. The stance remains consistent even for the third term.

The Sofia City Court has removed Kornelia Ninova from her position as chairwoman of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and as the party's official representative, replacing her with Atanas Zafirov in an interim capacity.

"We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB) remains divided on whether to propose a cabinet should it receive a third exploratory mandate from the president, reported BNR from sources within the coalition. Following a meeting of the parliamentary group yesterday, no consensus was reached, prompting leaders to convene today at the Chairman's Council for further deliberations.

Update: Another person detained by SANS in Plovdiv, reports BNT. Authorities are investigating "the disclosure of a state secret". The District Prosecutor's Office-Plovdiv monitors the pre-trial proceedings for the possible disclosure of information representing a state secret.

The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) anticipates receiving its third mandate to form a government and is committed to establishing a cabinet focused on national unity and rescue efforts, as stated by Borislav Gutsanov, the chairman of BSP's parliamentary group.

Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev addressed the National Assembly regarding Bulgaria's stance at the upcoming NATO summit in Washington, USA. The session, requested to be classified by "There Is Such a People" (TISP) chairman Toshko Yordanov, focused on Bulgaria's unvoted commitments for the summit, deemed crucial for national sovereignty.

GERB and DPS are seven votes short of forming a regular government. Tomorrow, the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will decide whether to support the first mandate at a party executive bureau meeting, OFFNews reported.
