A nice surprise on Skiathos

I am full of good memories from my recent holiday experience on the Aegean island of Skiathos, but there is one thing that really stood out: the public transportation.

With the situation in public transportation being what it is in most parts of Greece, any exception is worth mentioning.

Hole near the Road Threatens to Swallow a Bus Stop in Sofia

A large hole opened under a bus stop in front of the "Aleksandrovska" hospital in Sofia. The teams of the Center for Urban Mobility secure the area and dismantle the stop, reports frognews. 

The alleged causes of the collapse are the heavy rainfall of the last days and the construction activities related to the construction of the subway nearby.

A brilliant initiative launched in the French town of Grenoble has found a way to fill that "dead time" wasted as people wait for the bus. With the press of a button, the Short Story Dispenser prints (for free) a small piece of fiction on a length of paper similar to a receipt that can be read in one, three or five minutes, the average time people spend waiting at a urban bus stop.

A Metal Fragment Fell on a Woman Waiting for a Bus in Sofia

A metal object fell on a 31-year-old woman while she was waiting for a bus at a bus stop at Tsarigradsko shosse Blvd in Sofia, mediapool reported.

The victim was placed in the St. Anna Regional Hospital. It is supposed that the metal piece has fallen from a nearby building in construction.

VIDEO: British man attacks migrant for 'speaking Turkish' in London

A British man has been captured on video while verbally attacking a migrant in London and throwing his zimmer frame off a bus for ?speaking Turkish,? the Daily Mail has reported. 

The video shows a man, travelling with a baby, launching a racist verbal attack against a Turkish passenger for talking in Turkish while living in the United Kingdom for ?free benefits.?
