Police dismantle gang trafficking drugs from Europe to Israel on yachts
Greek police, with assistance from Israel, have arrested eight foreign nationals, dismantling a criminal ring that used yachts to traffic drugs from Europe to Israel.
The suspects, mainly from Israel and Ukraine, were arrested on Monday in Volos, central Greece, and appeared before a prosecutor on Wednesday, police said. Drug authorities are searching for more group members.
KEFiM: Greece should revise laws on soft drugs
Greece should revise its legal framework to either minimise penalties or fully decriminalize soft drugs to reduce the burden on the judicial and prison system, among other benefits, according to a study by the Center for Liberal Studies (KEFiM), in collaboration with the European network Epicenter.

Following a police operation in the area, authorities reportedly determined that the suspect had planted 546 cannabis trees on a farm.
According to police, the plantation was in a rural area of Mylopotamos.
