David Bowie
The glam-rock legend died on January 10th just two days after the release of his latest album “Blackstar” on the day of his 69th birthday. The pioneering artist was battling cancer, something that only his family knew.

The year 2016 began with David Bowie releasing one of the most acclaimed albums of his vast career, it was a sign of new creative energy from the rock legend. Two days later, he died, from an undisclosed battle with cancer. 

Greek celebrities take part in the anniversary photo shoot for weekly lifestyle magazine “Down Town” to raise awareness against AIDS called “We are all naked and unprotected against AIDS”. 45 Actors, actresses, singers, athletes, artists and all kinds of famous Greeks participate in the magazine’s initiative.

The display of Bowie’s private art collection is currently running at Sotheby’s auction house in NYC.  Bowie’s art collection heads to Hong Kong next and will then go up for auction.
