South Sudan: Plane Crashes into Lake Yirol Killing 19
Nineteen people were killed when a small passenger plane crashed into a lake as it tried to land in thick fog in central South Sudan, reports say.
Only four people, including two children, survived the crash, said government official Taban Abel Aguek.
The victims include the pilot and co-pilot, a staff member of the Red Cross and an Anglican bishop, he told AFP.

A Russian cargo plane crashed onto a river bank shortly after takeoff from Juba airport in South Sudan killing at least 41 people.
Among the dead are passengers of the plane and people on the the ground, according to media reports.

Over 150,000 South Sudanese now sheltering in UN bases
The number of South Sudanese civilians sheltering in United Nations bases has risen above 150,000 for the first time in 18 months of civil war, the U.N. said on July 7.
A total of 153,769 civilians are now seeking safety behind the barbed wire of six peacekeeping bases of the U.N. Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).
