Bulgarian Authorities Probe Chilling Murder Case in Botevgrad
Authorities in Botevgrad are currently investigating a grave crime, as reported by Nova TV. The discovery of charred remains has prompted a serious inquiry. The Ministry of the Interior disclosed that a 57-year-old resident of Novachene village, missing for several days, was officially declared as subject to a nationwide search as of yesterday.
Body recovered near Pyrgos dam
A dead body was discovered by locals near the Flokas dam on the outskirts of Pyrgos in the western Peloponnese, authorities said on Thursday.
The discovery prompted the response of 23 firefighters, six vehicles, an unmanned aerial vehicle operation team, as well as the 6th EMAK disaster response team stationed in the nearby city of Patra.

Two male teenagers have appeared before a prosecutor on charges of assaulting a 15-year-old boy in northern Athens and posting the attack on social media.
The mothers of the two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were also arrested for failing to supervise their children.

A human skull which was found in the grounds of an air base in Koropi, eastern Attica, will undergo a forensic examination.
The bones were collected by police officers and sent to the forensic service of the University of Athens, state broadcaster ERT reported.
Crete: Human head discovered in waste sorting facility
Police in Crete are investigating the discovery of a human head, likely to be that of a male aged in his 30s, at a waste sorting facility in Hania.
Upon discovery of the gruesome find, the unit, based in Akrotiri, shut down operations and called police.
A search then began in other waste containers in an effort to locate other body parts.
Suspect in Kos murder remanded pending trial
The 32-year-old Bangladeshi accused of raping and murdering 27-year-old Anastazja Rubinska on the island of Kos last week has been detained pending trial.
Appearing before an investigative magistrate on Wednesday for three hours, he reportedly denied the charges.
