'Mustang' honored by EU parliamentarians
"Mustang" has been picked by European parliamentarians as the winner of the 2015 Lux Film Prize.
Directed by French-Turkish filmmaker Deniz Gamze Ergüven, the film tells the story of how five Turkish sisters living with their grandmother after their parents' death try to escape forced marriage.

'Mustang' second best in Seminci Film Festival
French-Turkish director Deniz Gamze Ergüven's film "Mustang" has won four awards at the 60th International Seminci Film Festival in Valladolid, Spain.
The awards included the second award of the festival, the Silver Spike, as well as the International Foreign Press Award, the Young Seminci Award and the Viewers Award.

The adorable dog Uggie, famous for his role in the academy award-winning film "The Artist," had to be put down due to a tumor, celebrity website TMZ reported.
