Talks allegedly under way to exchange spies detained in Slovenia
Negotiations are taking place between Moscow and western countries to exchange the two suspected Russian spies detained in Slovenia for a person or people currently in jail in Russia, the Guardian reported from Ljubljana on 24 March, citing an unnamed source.
Minister says Ljubljana administrative unit in for restructuring
Ljubljana – Public Administration Minister Sanja Ajanović Hovnik commented on Thursday on the dismissal of Bojan Babič as the director of the Ljubljana administrative unit, saying the decision had not been politically motivated. Babič agrees and will not appeal, as this would not suspend his dismissal, and a deputy head has already been appointed.
13th Znanstival science festival occupying Ljubljana

Another setback for Plečnik stadium project
Ljubljana – The Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage opposes a project to revamp a rundown sports stadium in Ljubljana that was designed by Slovenia’s best known architect Jože Plečnik. The decision was made last month after the Culture Ministry annulled a previous positive opinion, Dnevnik reports on Tuesday.
