The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has issued a yellow code for rain and thunderstorms in ten regions of northeastern Bulgaria today. Over the eastern half of the country, cumulus and cumulus clouds will develop before noon, bringing rain and thunder in some areas. There will be a moderate to strong wind from the north-northeast.

In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will start to form over Northern Bulgaria, with cumulus-rain clouds appearing over the Central North and Northeast regions by the evening. Short-term rains and thunder are expected in some areas, with hail being a possibility.

On Friday morning, clouds over the eastern half of Bulgaria will start to clear. However, by the afternoon, cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will form again, leading to rain and thunder in certain areas. The wind, coming from the northwest, will be moderate to strong.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued weather warnings for today, with an orange code for heavy rain and thunderstorms in the regions of Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Targovishte, Razgrad, Shumen, and Silistra. The rest of the country is under a yellow code, except for the districts of Sofia-grad, Pernik, Kyustendil, Vidin, Vratsa, and Montana.

A yellow warning code for high temperatures has been issued across Bulgaria for today and tomorrow, July 10 and 11. Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 39 degrees Celsius, with Sofia forecasted to hit 34 degrees. Shumen and Ruse will experience 39 degrees, Plovdiv and Silistra 38, and Yambol, Kardjali, Vidin, and Sandanski 37 degrees.

Today, the weather will remain sunny and hot. A light to moderate wind will blow from the north-northeast, with maximum temperatures ranging from 34° to 39°, and reaching 33° in Sofia, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH).
