Moldova Expects Investments in the Development of the Bulgarian Community there by our Country

Moldova expects from the Bulgarian government support and investment to raise the quality of education and improve the social and economic situation for the Bulgarian community there.

This was stated by Iurie Leancă, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, who is visiting us after his meeting with Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva.

ForMin Melescanu chairs meeting of Group for European Action of Republic of Moldova

Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodor Melescanu on Monday chaired the meeting of the Group for European Action of the Republic of Moldova (GAERM), informed MAE in a press release.

The meeting was organized in Brussels on the sidelines of the Foreign Affairs Council, where the Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Tudor Ulianovschi was the main guest.

Moldova Reshuffles Govt to Improve Tarnished Image

Moldova's government will have seven new members, and only four ministers will keep their seats in a surprise reshuffle announced on Tuesday by the leader of the ruling of the Democratic Party of Moldova, PDM, Vlad Plahotniuc.

He explained that the PDM wants a more "technocratic" and professional government as well as more feminine representation, with four women in the new cabinet.

Austrian Election Winner Sebastian Kurz Prepares for Talks form Government

Austrian President Alexander van der Belen handed over a mandate to form a new government to the leader of the conservative Austrian People's Party Sebastian Kurtz, reports TASS. 

The event is held in the Hofburg Palace.

"Based on the election results, I give you the right to form a government as the party leader who won the majority of the votes," the head of state said.

18 Parties, 9 Coalitions To Take Part in Bulgaria's Snap Elections

A total of 18 parties and 9 coalitions have registered with the Central Election Commission (CEC) for the snap parliamentary elections on March 26, reported BGNES.

The deadline for the submitting of the necessary documents for participation in the vote expired on Wednesday.

CEC announced that there are no parties or coalitions that have filed wrong or incorrect documents.
