Pepsico to produce in Greece 60% of soft drinks locally consumed
Some 60% of PepsiCo's soft drinks for the domestic market will be produced in Greece from the end of the year, after the company decided to return even more of its production after 2016, when it decided to close the soft drink factory at Oinofyta, north of Athens.

Turkish parliament removes brands from menu over alleged Israel support
Turkey's parliament has removed Coca Cola and Nestle products from its restaurants over their alleged support for Israel amid the conflict in Gaza, according to a parliament statement and a source who named the two companies.
The two companies did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Two separate World Health Organization expert panels have declared the sweetener aspartame a "possible carcinogen". However, it remains safe to consume within the recommended levels already established.

CCHBC buys Finlandia vodka
Athens-listed Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company has announced the acquisition of Finlandia vodka from Brown-Forman Finland, for $220 million.
Founded in 1970, Finlandia is a leading vodka brand in Central and Eastern Europe with annual volumes of 2.7 million nine-liter cases worldwide, of which more than 60% is produced within the Coca-Cola HBC geographical footprint.

CCHBC revenue up 22.2% in Q1
Coca-Cola HBC on Wednesday announced higher organic revenue growth of 22.2% in the first quarter, excluding Russia and Ukraine.
The company said that a price mix led revenue growth as it took decisive actions to mitigate cost inflation.
Volume growth in sparkling, energy and coffee drinks was offset by declines in stills, driven by an anticipated weakness in water.

Coca Cola 3E to invest 75 million euros in 2022 – 2023
Coca-Cola 3E is "running" an investment plan of 75 million euros for the 2022-2023, and this is cause for optimism according to Ms. Maria Anargyrou-Nikolits, general manager of the company for Greece and Cyprus, despite the adversities due to inflationary pressures, the energy crisis and the problems of the supply chain.
