24-hour strike in public transport in Athens
Commuters in Athens are expected to encounter slow traffic, as track-based public transport workers (STA.SY) are on a 24-hour strike. The subway services, tram and suburban railway routes will not be operating for Thursday, February 23. Workers have also scheduled 24-hour strikes for Monday, March 1 and Friday March 4 of next week.
