Sectoral confidence slips in December
Confidence in Turkey's key sectors fell on a monthly basis in December, the country's statistical authority said on Dec. 25.
The services confidence index dropped the most this month with a 9.2% month-on-month decrease to reach 70.4 points, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) data showed.
The drop was largely driven by weak demand due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Consumer confidence remains unchanged in December
Consumer confidence in the Turkish economy in December stood at the same level with the previous month, the country's statistical authority announced on Dec. 21.
The consumer confidence index was 80.1 this month, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said.

Economic confidence falls in November
Turkey's economic confidence index posted a monthly decline in November, according to official data released on Nov. 27.
The index decreased by 3.5% to reach 89.5 in November, down from 92.8 in October, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said.

Business sentiment deteriorates further in November
Ljubljana – Business sentiment in Slovenia deteriorated further in November as additional Covid-19 lockdown measures kicked in, with the relevant indicator dropping to -13.8 percentage points, or 6.8 points lower than in October and 16 points lower year-on-year.
Economic confidence in Turkey jumps in May
Turkey's economic confidence index improved sharply to 61.7 in May, the country's statistical authority said on May 28.
The May figure jumped 20.4% from 51.3 last month, amid Turkey's normalization from the waning coronavirus pandemic, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) data showed.

In Turkey, confidence in all sectors posted a rise in May, the country's statistical authority reported on May 22.
Seasonally adjusted confidence indices for services, retail trade and construction rose 10.8%, 5% and 31.1%, respectively, month-on-month in May.

Turkish consumer confidence index improves in May
Consumer confidence in the Turkish economy recovered this month, Turkey's statistical authority announced on May 20.
The consumer confidence index hit 59.5 this month, an 8.5% rise from April when the figure was 54.9, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said.

Economic confidence index at 51.3 in April
Turkey's economic confidence index stood at 51.3 in April, according to the country's statistical authority on April 29.
The April figure decreased from 91.8 last month or by 44.1%, amid lockdown measures to stem the spread of coronavirus, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) data showed.

Consumer confidence index down in April
Turkish consumers' confidence in the country's economy has fallen 5.8% this month amid coronavirus fears, Turkey's statistical authority said on April 22.
The consumer confidence index came in at 54.9 month-on-month in April, TÜİK data showed. Last month, the figure was 58.2.
