Bulgaria Ends National COVID-19 Information Portal

The National System to combat COVID-19 and the Unified Information Portal, coronavirus.bg, will cease operations starting July 1. Information about COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria will now be published weekly in the epidemic situation reports of the Ministry of Health and the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases.

Active contact tracing relaunched

Ljubljana – With new coronavirus infections steadily declining, the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) has relaunched the active tracing of contacts of those who have tested positive, which had been suspended in autumn due to an unmanageable inflow of daily cases.

Authorities conduct mass testing after coronavirus outbreak in Roma community, 16 new cases

The Health Ministry on Wednesday reported 16 new confirmed Covid-19 cases, bringing the country's total to 2,760. Of these, 610 are traced to travel abroad and 1,402 to known cases in Greece.

Of the 16 new cases, 10 are connected to group infections in the Larissa, central Greece area, the ministry said.
