Princess Charlene: Her affectionate photo with Albert on their thirteen years of marriage
Two of the most popular members of royal families in Europe, Princess Charlene, and her husband Prince Albert, celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on July 1 with a tender behind-the-scenes photo of their public appearance at the Palace of Monaco.

The camera captured the couple on the palace balcony, where Albert had reached out to embrace Charlene, while their twin children, Jacques and Gabriella, now 10, stood in front of them. Albert looks lovingly at his wife, whom he first met in 2000 when Charlene competed in Monaco as part of the Marenostrum event.
The caption of the photo, posted by the prince’s official Instagram account, includes wishes for the couple, and underneath, users of the platform have made hundreds of similar comments.
It took some years for their relationship to develop, as Charlene was a professional swimmer and the couple made their first official appearance in 2006, at the Torino Olympics.
Their wedding took place in Monaco in 2011 and the bride wore an Armani dress that took 2,500 hours to complete.
