Two of the most popular members of royal families in Europe, Princess Charlene, and her husband Prince Albert, celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on July 1 with a tender behind-the-scenes photo of their public appearance at the Palace of Monaco.

Prince Albert II of Monaco will be visiting the island of Elafonissos on May 29, the Athens-Macedonian News Agency reported on Monday.

The prince's visit to the island, located off the southern tip of the Peloponnese, is taking place in the context of the 6th Edition of the Eco-Sustainable Symposium during the Elafonissos EcoWeek-Green Challenge 2023 (May 29 - June 4).

Prince Albert II of Monaco gave him a ceremonial reception in front of the Prince's Palace of Monaco. Along with the lined up Guard and the anthems of the two countries, Prince Albert warmly welcomed President Vui, and because of this visit, the flag of Serbia was put up at the Prince's Palace along with the flag of Monaco.

Often described as ‘the world’s most eligible bachelor’, the 31-year-old prince beat his older brother William by a full eight places in the poll of global royals. The 31-year-old bachelor came top, followed by Prince Carl Philip, 37, fourth in line to the throne in Sweden and married to model Sofia Hellqvist.

The European Court of Human Rights ruled on Nov. 10 that France's Paris Match magazine was justified in revealing the existence of Prince Albert II of Monaco's illegitimate son because the story was in the public interest.
