Lot 4 of Bulgaria's Struma Motorway Opens for Traffic on July 31

The Struma motorway section between Sandanski and Kulata is to open for traffic after 6 p.m. on Friday.

The 14,7-kilometer motorway section will be inspected by Regional Development Minister Lilyana Pavlova and Lazar Lazarov, Chair of the Management Board of Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency.

On June 7, an 8.6-km section of the right lane of the Maritsa motorway section connecting Svilengrad and Kapitan Andreevo will open for traffic.

The project was implemented with funding from the state budget under the New Construction program of Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency.

Repair Works to Hamper Traffic on Danube Bridge at Bulgaria's Ruse

The traffic on Danube Bridge between the Bulgarian city of Ruse and the Romanian town of Giurgiu will be hampered due to repair works starting on the Romanian side.

The Romanian National Company of Motorways and National Roads informed the Bulgarian Road Infrastructure Agency of the forthcoming repair works on the DN5 road.
