New Attiki Odos Concession to Take Over from October 6, 2024: Key Changes to Tolls and Subscription Plans

Starting at midnight on Sunday, October 6, 2024, the operation of Attiki Odos will be officially transferred to the new concession company, New Attiki Odos Concession M.A.E., under the terms of the Concession Agreement signed on September 12, 2024.

PM announces road toll reductions on Central Greece motorway

Cars using the motorway to traverse Central Greece will henceforth pay up to 2.8 or 3.0 euros less in road tolls, while the tolls for the Attiki Odos motorway traversing Attica to the airport will drop to 2.5 euros as of October 6, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced on Tuesday.

Transport ministry announces reduced toll prices for Aegean motorway

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport announced that toll prices across all stations on the Aegean Motorway will be reduced from October 1, 2024, until December 31, 2025.

These reductions stem from the benefits accrued by the Greek state through the refinancing of the Maliakos-Kleidi Motorway of the Aegean Motorway project.

GEK Terna signs €3.3 bln lease for Athens toll highway, sources say

GEK Terna has signed a 3.3 billion euro deal for the lease of a toll highway in Athens, two sources with knowledge of the matter have told Reuters.

Bulgaria Proposes Lowering Highway Speed Limits
