Zac Kostopoulos: the real estate agent in prison, the jeweler under house arrest – The decision of the Court of Appeal
The real estate agent found guilty in the Zach Kostopoulos death case was sent to prison today by the Court of Appeal. The court decided that he should serve his sentence (six years in prison) in jail while, in contrast, the jeweler (who was given a five-year sentence) was given home detention, as he has reached the age of 80.

The Mixed Jury Court of Appeal of Athens has unanimously sentenced a jeweler to five years and a realtor to six years in prison for the fatal beating of 33-year-old gay rights activist Zak Kostopoulos in September 2018 in downtown Athens.

Lawyer hands himself in following arrest warrant
Prominent criminal lawyer Apostolos Lytras handed himself in to Pallini Police Department on Wednesday after an arrest warrant was issued by judicial authorities. The warrant followed the lifting of previously imposed restraining orders after Lytras' violent assault on his wife, Sofia Polyzogopoulou.
