Croatian fighters intercept aircraft destined for Slovenia
Zagreb – A US-registered Beechcraft Bonanza civilian aircraft flying from Greece to Slovenia was intercepted by two Croatian MiG-21 fighter jets as it entered the Croatian airspace on Monday. The aircraft continued its flight to the destination after it had been established that it could not make contact with flight control as its avionics had failed.

Croatia Selects French Fighter Jets to Upgrade Airforce
Croatia will procure 12 used French F3R Rafale fighter jets to modernise the country's airforce, Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic announced on Friday.
"This is the largest investment in the Croatian Armed Forces, the largest investment in ensuring lasting peace and the security of Croatian citizens," the Prime Minister said referencing the price of 999 million euros.
Will Croatia send soldiers to the so-called Kosovo?
According to the proposal, up to 150 members of the Croatian Armed Forces and two helicopters of the Croatian Air Force should be sent to Kosovo and Metohija, HINA reported.
Currently, the 33rd Croatian contingent with 38 members of the CAF and two helicopters in the areas near Pristina, Ferizaj and at the Viladjio base not far from Peja is participating in KFOR operations.
