Russian investigators on Friday said they were examining a Ukrainian lead in last month's massacre at a Moscow concert hall that was claimed by the ISIL.

ISIL has claimed responsibility on multiple occasions for the March 22 attack which killed over 140 people and injured 360 but Moscow has repeatedly implied that Kyiv or the West were involved.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported a significant increase in the number of individuals expressing willingness to join the war in Ukraine, citing the recent attack on Crocus City Hall in the Moscow region as a primary motivator.

In the aftermath of the harrowing attack on Moscow's iconic concert hall "Crocus City Hall," the accused perpetrators have come forth with full testimonies detailing the orchestration of the assault and those who aided in its planning.

After the terror attack that shook the Crocus City Hall concert hall in a Moscow suburb, a Russian court has made a decisive move, extending the custody of the four defendants until May 22.

An explosion rocked the renowned Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, leaving 115 victims and several others injured, including five children. The tragedy unfolded during a concert, shattering the evening's festivities and sending shockwaves throughout the region.

The Foreign Ministry has expressed its sympathy to the families of the victims of the attack on the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, in which scores of people were killed in a terrorist attack claimed by Islamic State. 

"Shocked by the terrible images coming from Moscow following the horrific attack at Crocus City Hall," the ministry said on X.

Russia on Saturday said it had arrested 11 people — including four gunmen — over the attack on a Moscow concert hall claimed by ISIL, as the death toll rose to 133.
