Turkish Conglomerate Acquires Canadian Gold Mining Projects in Bulgaria

Canadian company Velocity Minerals, which oversees various gold and copper mining projects in Bulgaria, including Rozino and Iglika, has announced the sale of its Bulgarian assets to the Turkish conglomerate Türkerler for 59 million US Dollars, "Club Z" reports. Among the projects under Velocity's control are "Momchil", "Dangovo", and "Nadezhda".

Tony Blair to Advise Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic

Former UK PM Tony Blair is to receive funding to advise Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, British media report.

Sixteen years back, Blair was among politicians at the spearhead of the NATO bombing campaigns carried out against Belgrade during the Kosovo War. Vucic himself was Minister of Information of former Yugoslavia at the time.
