A Colombia-based gang was brought down after stealing a diamond worth $1 million in Ankara.
Samizdat B92 publishes Serbian translation of Kadare's book
"Discussing Diamonds on December Afternoon" represents a collection of short stories from diverse periods of Ismail Kadare's work.

A massive diamond valued at more than $70 million will go under the hammer in London next month, the Sotheby's auction house said May 4.
Known as "Lesedi la Rona," it was found nine months ago in Botswana by the Lucara Diamond Corp.

Largest diamond in over century found in Botswana
A 1,111 carat "high quality diamond" has been discovered at a mine in Botswana, said to be the biggest find in more than a century, according to the mine company.
The gem, only second in size to the Cullinan diamond which was unearthered in South Africa in 1905, was mined by Lucara Diamond Corp.

Second largest diamond recovered in Botswana
A small Canadian diamond company has announced the discovery of the world’s second biggest gem quality diamond that has ever been recovered, as Telegraph reports.
According to Lucara Diamond Corp the 1,111 carat stone was found at its Karowe mine in north-central Botswana.
