Acropolis lift back in operation
A platform lift for disabled persons at the Acropolis Hill is available to the public following repair work, Greece's Ministry of Culture said Wednesday.
Installed in 2004 as part of an effort to make Athens more accessible during the Olympics and Paralympics, the cage-like elevator has become increasingly prone to failure.

Does the prime minister agree with Mr Polakis?
It is truly very, very difficult for someone to understand what is going on in Alternate Health Minister Pavlos Polakis's head. The "proud" Cretan publicly embarrasses a man with disabilities with disturbing ease. The total lack of humanity - much less manners - is shocking. Such pettiness brings into question the moral compass of the Left.

They were people who were defeated and weak - not exactly poor, but living on the margins of society. A rather peculiar margin. They are not helpless, they do not suffer from some form of disability, they are not angry with politics. They ignore it, just as it ignores them.

It also focuses on parents who care for children with special needs but want to work. Head of Work Capability Assessment Commission in North Bulgaria was Arrested for Taking Bribes
The head of the Work Capability Assessment Commission in Lovech (central North Bulgaria). Donka Minkova, was arrested on 31st of January at a time she was receiving a bribe from an intermediary to help for issuing documents with false content. The intermediary was also detained. Some 13,000 BGN were found in him.
