Migrants rescued from boat found off Kalymnos
Sixty-eight migrants found on Monday on a sailboat northwest of the coast of the small island of Leros, in southeastern Greece, were rescued and transferred to the island, state-run broadcaster ERT reported.
The migrants were picked up by a merchant ship that was sailing nearby and then by the Coast Guard that transferred them to Leros.

Man arrested on Kos in missing woman case
Authorities on the Dodecanese island of Kos have arrested a man on suspicion of the abduction of 27-year-old Anastazja Rubinska, a Polish citizen who has been missing since Monday.
The 32-year-old suspect is from Bangladesh.

Karpathos: Donkeys rescued from remote beach
Two donkeys who got stuck on a remote beach on the Dodecanese island of Karpathos have been taken to safety following a two-hour rescue operation by local emergency services.
The animals, who had been left by their owners to graze freely before they would be put to work during the summer season, had wandered down to an isolated beach but were unable to climb back.

Easter exodus from Athens picks up pace
The annual Easter exodos of Athenians from the capital picked up pace at Attica's ports, motorways and airports on Good Friday.
A total of 14 ferries are scheduled to depart for the Aegean islands and 31 for the Saronic islands. Another 12 ferries will depart from Rafina and 9 from Lavrio ports.

Plan for Cycladic’s scheduled flights to islands this summer remains grounded
The project to provide scheduled flights between the Cyclades and the Dodecanese islands has all but collapsed.
Cycladic planned to connect six Cycladic islands, along with Rhodes and Crete, for this summer, but it will have to limit its activity to charter flights.
Magnitude 5.9 earthquake strikes off the coast of Rhodes
A strong temblor rocked the southeast Aegean island of Rhodes on Wednesday. No damage was initially reported.
According to the revised assessment of the Geodynamic Institute, it was a magnitude 5.9 temblor and occurred at 2.37 p.m. with an epicenter in the sea, 58 kilometers southeast of Lindos, at a depth of 22 km. The initial estimate was 5.7 Richter.
Coast Guard patrol boat harassed by Turkish vessel off Farmakonisi
A Coast Guard patrol boat was harassed by a Turkish offshore vessel on Thursday morning off the Dodecanese island of Farmakonisi, the Coast Guard has said.
In a statement, the Coast Guard said its vessel was attempting to identify three Turkish fishing vessels that were fishing within Greek territorial waters, southeast of Farmakonisi.
