Unknown group claims prison warden's murder
A previously unknown group has claimed responsibility for murdering the warden of Domokos Prison in central Greece three months ago.
Makis Galimanis was gunned down outside his home in Lamia in February in a drive-by shooting.

Prison guards and inmates protest jail conditions
Greek prison guards on Friday vowed to extend action being carried out in protest at understaffing across the countrys correctional facilities until July 1.
According to figures provided by unionists, who launched rolling work stoppages on Thursday, facilities in Greece have an average ratio of about one prison guard for every 500 inmates.

Domokos Prison fugitive caught after violating furlough
A 32-year-old inmate of Domokos Prison in central Greece who failed to return from a furlough on May 20 was arrested in nearby Lamia on Monday.
The inmate, who was serving a life sentence for homicide, was deemed a fugitive when he skipped out after four days of leave.
He was located in a remote mountainous area a few kilometers away from the jail.
