At least two Turkish soldiers were killed, three others injured in an attack in northwestern Syria, Turkey's National Defense Ministry said on Sept. 11.

The attack occurred after a search and scanning activity in the Idlib de-escalation zone, a statement by the ministry said.

U.S. Navy explosive experts believe a "drone strike" targeted an oil tanker that came under attack off the coast of Oman in the Arabian Sea, killing two on board, the American military said on July 31.

At least two Turkish soldiers were killed and two injured when terrorists attacked an armored vehicle carrying troops in northern Syria, according to a statement late on July 24.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda, on May 24 as part of the latter's two-day official visit to the capital Ankara.

A Turkish soldier was killed and four others wounded in an attack on a supply convoy in northern Syria, Turkey's National Defense Ministry said early on May 11. 

"In the Operation Spring Shield zone, one of our hero fellow soldiers was martyred and four of our heroic fellow soldiers were injured in the rocket attack on our supply convoy on May 10, 2021," the ministry said on Twitter.

Turkey top defense official on Dec. 26 met with the Chairman of Libya's High Council of State in a visit to Libya.

Turkey's top diplomat on Nov. 24 accused a German frigate of violating international law when it stopped and searched a commercial vessel without the consent of its flag-state or its captain.
