Bern – The European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) has addressed an open letter to Prime Minister Janez Janša calling on him to resolve the dispute with the Slovenian Press Agency (STA) while expressing concern about Janša’s tweet accusing STA director Bojan Veselinovič of being an accomplice to the “murder” of former STA editor-in-chief Borut Meško.

AGERPRES, AzerTAc sign memorandum of understanding on news exchange
Romania's National News Agency AGERPRES on Monday in Baku signed a memorandum of understanding on news exchange with the AzerTAc news agency of Azerbaijan.
Signing the document on behalf of AzerTAc was its General Director Aslan Aslanov, while AGERPRES General Director Alexandu Giboi signed on behalf of AGERPRES.
EANA conference in Split
SPLIT - A conference of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) started in Split on Thursday and the chief topic is: "Public money for public value."
Close to 70 directors and main editors from 32 European news agencies are at the conference, including those from the German DPA, France Presse, Itar-Tass, Ansa from Italy, Anatolia, Tanjug and others.
