Preparations are ongoing in Moscow for the Victory Day military parade.
As in the past, Russia will use the ceremony on May 9 to celebrate victory over fascism in the Second World War, and to show off its military might.

Serbia is interested in buying Russian air defense systems Tor, Pantsir, and Buk, as well as MiG-29 warplanes, Sputnik is reporting.
Belgrade showed interest in this after Croatia announced it planned to buy American weapons, a representative of the Russian Federal Service for Military Technical Cooperation said.

BEIJING -- Members of the Chinese army's guards of honor have arrived in Moscow, according to the Chinese embassy in Russia, Xinhua is reporting.
They will for the first time take part in the Victory Day military parade in Moscow, scheduled for May 9.

Serbian soldiers depart for Moscow
BELGRADE -- A Serbian Army (VS) Guard unit on Saturday department from the Batajnica airport near Belgrade for Moscow where they will take part in the Victory Day parade.
The soldiers were seen off by Serbian Army (VS) Chief of Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic and Russian Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandr Chepurin.
