If Athens does not proceed with the necessary reforms the markets will lose confidence in the country, Eurogroup head Jeroen Dijsselbloem warned on Tuesday on the sidelines of an Ecofin meeting in Brussels.

An Ecofin meeting was completed in Brussels on Tuesday without any mention of the possibility of an agreement between the Greek government and the country's Euro zone partners.

BELGRADE - The EU has proposed a series of measures to the Serbian government for the improvement of the economy and finances, which largely coincide with the measures announced by the Serbian government.

The police has banned public gatherings in central Athens from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, when the European Union’s finance ministers will be in the Greek capital for an informal Eurogroup and then an ECOFIN meeting.
