Fire in Mandra reignites
The fire in Mandra that had been burning for most of last week was reignited around noon on Sunday.
There are ground forces and two aircraft operating on the scene. They had been stationed in the area due to the high risk of fire on Sunday.
The authorities stopped traffic on the road connecting Elefsina to Thiva.

Archaeologists excavating a hilltop sanctuary on the Aegean Sea island of Kythnos have discovered "countless" pottery offerings left by ancient worshippers over the centuries, Greece's Culture Ministry said on June 7.
Former foreign minister Theodoros Pangalos dies
Theodoros Pangalos, a former foreign minister with Socialist PASOK in the 1990s, died on Wednesday, aged 84. The news was announced by his family on his Twitter account.
"Our beloved Theodoros Pangalos died today peacefully at home with his family and close associates by his side. Have a good journey our beloved. We will always remember you with love," the tweet said.

First group of Greeks evacuated from Sudan set to arrive soon
