Australian-owned investment group Macquarie, which is well-known in Greece after acquiring 49% of DEDDIE, bought 50% of Enel Green Power Hellas to co-manage the renewable energy plants in operation and is focusing on financing Sea.

France's TotalEnergies is exploring a sale of a 50% stake of a portfolio of renewable projects in Europe and the US, including Greece,according to two people familiar with the matter.

The French energy group is sounding out advisers for a sale of a stake in wind and solar power assets across the US, Spain, Portugal, France and Greece, the sources said.

Romania is to open a legal case against Italian energy holding Enel at the Paris-based International Court of Arbitration for breaching privatization terms concerning the sale of the local company, Electrica Muntenia Sud.
