Nolan got personal to summon his miracle of 'Dunkirk'
History -- some of it intensely personal -- leant heavily on Christopher Nolan when he was making his wartime epic "Dunkirk," which rolls out in cinemas across the world from July 19.
The English-born director of the "Batman" movies had long dreamt of tackling the story of how a kind of victory was pulled from Britain's worst defeat of World War II.

Jonathan Glazer's 2000 gangster-comedy "Sexy Beast" features electrifying performances by Ben Kingsley and Ray Winstone. Third day of Release Athens festival canceled due to headliner illness
The third day of the Release Athens festival, originally scheduled for June 17, has been canceled.
The festival announced that an illness of Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay led to the cancellation.
"We wish Jay Kay a speedy recovery and hope he will soon be with us," organizers said in a statement.
Serbia-Hungary police cooperation deemed "excellent"
Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic spoke on Thursday in Budapest with his Hungarian counterpart Sandor Pinter about illegal migration.
They also discussed cooperation in protecting external borders and exchange of information in the fight against human trafficking, the Serbian government announced.
