BIRN Presents Interactive Publication Within Local Journalism – European Perspectives Project

At one of the series of Platform B events, on Friday, BIRN presented its interactive publication produced within the project Local Journalism - European Perspectives.

The publication was created in collaboration with nine local media outlets from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia.

Startups draw $1.5 billion in investments

Turkish startups attracted investments totaling about $1.5 billion last year, according to a report released by Startup Centrum on Jan. 19. 

The total volume of investments in Turkish startups increased by ninefold in 2021 compared to the previous year, said Startup Centrum, a digital community that gets startups, talents, investors and incubators together.

Google to train Turkish youth interested in developing mobile applications

Google will open its doors to 2,000 young people in Turkey to help with their technology careers, said the Turkish industry and technology minister on Sept. 22. 

A signing ceremony was held at Turkey's largest technology and aerospace event Teknofest for an academy to train young people interested in developing mobile games and applications.
