Olympic basketabll ticket up for grabs
The Greek national basketball team's aspiration to qualify for a place at the Paris Olympics gets under way this week at the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) in Athens, which will host the 2024 FIBA Men's Pre-Qualifying Olympic Qualifying Tournament, one of the sport's most important international events.

Woman detained over state radio channel vandalism
A 23-year-old woman was detained over the weekend in connection with an incident on Friday involving self-styled anarchists who barged into the studio of the ERT3 state radio channel in Thessaloniki, spray-painted slogans on the walls and interrupted programming.
Another four people were briefly detained before being released.

Revolting details concerning an employee of ERT3, Thessaloniki’s public broadcaster, who stands accused of sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl for two years – ie. from the age of seven!
Greece guards the EU borders, PM Tsipras says
