TV employee says his 9-year-old victim “seduced” him

Revolting details concerning an employee of ERT3, Thessaloniki’s public broadcaster, who stands accused of sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl for two years – ie. from the age of seven!

He appeared calm and distant while giving his testimony, maintaining that the child had “seduced” him at the age of seven! Furthermore, he said that the father was aware of the situation. In a video he presented as evidence, the child was on his lap kissing him and hugging him while the father appeared to cheer the girl on.

Apart from the video in question, the defendent has hardcore child pornography in his possession as well as material he filmed at playgrounds around Thessaloniki featuring children and their motehrs.

The paederast and the child lived in the same block of flats and he was friends with the girl’s father. His lawyer said that the two men would go out for drinks together and the man would help the family out financially in exchange for time with their daughter. He rejects the charge of rape but agrees to molestation.
