Belgrade's bloody football derby: 26 detained/VIDEO

The Interior Minsitry (MUP) announced this on Thursday, adding that it was ordered by the prosecution to identify the persons who took part in the incidents.

Among those injured in the fighting in Belgrade last night were several foreign nationals, the MUP said.

Unofficially, they came from Croatia, Greece, and Macedonia.

Partizan overcome Red Star in basketball derby

BELGRADE - Partizan Belgrade beat arch-rivals Red Star 78-77 (16-21, 22-20, 18-21, 22-15) late Thursday in Round 9 of the Serbian Basketball Superleague.

In front of 5,000 spectators at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, Red Star had the lead until the very end, when Novica Velickovic won the derby for Partizan with a buzzer beater.

Red Star win season's first basketball Superliga derby

BELGRADE - Red Star Belgrade beat Partizan 85-74 (23-16, 19-22, 23-18, 20-18) in the second round of the Serbian basketball Superliga late Tuesday.

In what was the first Eternal Derby of the competition, the reigning ABA League and Serbian champions overcame the arch-rivals at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall for the third time this season.

Leonardo, Tawamba score to win football derby for Partizan

BELGRADE - Partizan Belgrade beat arch-rivals Red Star 3-1 (1-0) in Tuesday's 154th Eternal Derby to open up the title race.

In front of 26,112 spectators at the Rajko Mitic Stadium, Partizan won through goals by Leonardo (mins 21, 80) and Leandre Tawamba (min 68), with Richmond Boakye scoring the only goal for the hosts in the 47th minute.
