Savo Milosevic named new Partizan head coach
BELGRADE - Savo Milosevic was officially named new head coach of Serbian football club Partizan Belgrade on Friday.
A club statement said Milosevic was due to be unveiled on Monday.
Milosevic succeeds Aleksandar Stanojevic, who resigned after Monday's 4-0 home defeat to arch-rivals Red Star in the 174th Eternal Derby.

Partizan overrun by Red Star as Ndiaye scores hat-trick
BELGRADE - Serbian football champions Red Star Belgrade defeated arch-rivals Partizan 4-0 away in a Superliga Matchday 9 game on Monday evening.
In the 174th Eternal Derby, Cherif Ndiaye scored a hat-trick (24 min pen, 55 min, 65 min) for Red Star and Silas Katompa Mvumpa netted three minutes into first half injury time.

Red Star vs Jedinstvo, Partizan vs Napredak in football Superliga first round
BELGRADE - Serbian football champions Red Star Belgrade will host newly-promoted Jedinstvo Ub in Round 1 of the next season of the Serbian Superliga, with arch-rivals Partizan to play Napredak Krusevac away, the Superliga has announced.
In Round 2, Red Star will host Mladost Lucani and Partizan will play Jedinstvo away.
Red Star through to final of Serbian football cup after derby win
BELGRADE - Title holders Red Star Belgrade are through to the final of the Serbian football cup after a 2-0 Eternal Derby win over Partizan at home in the semi-finals on Wednesday evening.
Partizan's Aleksandar Filipovic scored an own goal in the 27th minute to put Red Star in the lead and Peter Olayinka netted in the 29th minute.

Stojkovic, Milojevic win FSS Golden Ball awards
BELGRADE - Partizan Belgrade and Serbia goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic and Red Star Belgrade head coach Vladan Milojevic are the winners of the 2017 Football Association of Serbia (FSS) Golden Ball awards for Best Player and Best Coach.
Both Partizan and Red Star have made it to the Europa League Round of 32 this season.
